Alyssa + Lucas | April 3, 2016
Majestic Rocky mountains were the setting for this couple's engagement session. Warm April day didn't disappoint as well :) We had wonderful time with Alyssa and Lucas who came all the way from Edmonton for their engagement shoot.
Enjoy some of our favorites from their engagement session!
A great spring session in Crescent Heights with Tom and Lori. It was windy and a bit chilly that day but love and a warm jacket conquer that easily:)
A fabulous shoot with an extremely smiley and good-looking couple! Kim and Landon are so easy and great with each other, it's been a real pleasure to photograph their love story!
Lindsay and Nick's engagement session wouldn't be complete without their pup Marlee's active participation! Dog lovers, rugby players, and such fun to be around - we enjoyed every minute of your session guys!
Sally + Zephrym | 13.02.16.Breathtaking vistas of Banff Park. Unique session that started with heavy snow and ended with sun and beautiful clouds! Had the most fun with Sally and Zeph - guys, you're great to work with!
Two cute dachshunds in bow ties and matching jerseys totally melted our hearts at Krystle and Colby's engagement shoot in Banff.
Ashley + Bobby | 12.09.15.
We love sunset shoots! And this Fish Creek Park engagement session was romantic and full of love. Golden light, mmm…. feels like a fairy tale with a noble prince and a beautiful princess.
Amanda + Steven | 28.08.15
A fun couple with their cute dog Ollie and a guitar - what can be better for a great time out with these guys! Well, it can be - when the setting for their engagement session is beautiful Kananaskis country! We're honored to say that one of the images has been published twice already..
Chrissy + Reed | 29.11.15.
We were super lucky to get whole acreage with a super cool barn and horse for our fall engagement session with Chrissy and Reed. Those two lovebirds wanted snow in their pictures and in late November we at last had some!
Wonderful late afternoon engagement session with Kim and Laine. And we got to see a wonderful sunset from Dover Community with those two lovebirds.
The engagement session location was perfect, just like this couple!
Angela + Jon | 29.01.16. Crazy Calgary chinooks made this session possible - Angela was sporting short sleeves in January, can you believe that? One can tell, those guys were warmed by their love. Thanks to Browns Socialhouse for letting us use their patio - this place was special to Angela and Jon and we're glad we could photograph their engagement session there.
Young and in love - that's how you recognize Breanna and AJ anywhere. They are amazing and we loved their engagement session we did in two locations in the Inglewood. Check them out! We promise to show you their golf club August wedding next ;)
This was a super fun engagement session in Okotoks with Laura and Mike last summer. We fell in love with Okotoks - and it was simply gorgeous with leaves starting to turn yellow but still with abundance of flowers in its cozy downtown. Laura and Mike are a wonderful couple, so easy and relaxed, so great with each other, and so much in love. Wishing you lots of happiness guys!
One of the great places for an engagement session in our city is Inglewood community. Its one of the oldest communities in the city and is a real artistic hub. Velora and Andrew chose Inglewood for its vintage and creative feel, and it was the perfect setting for their engagement session. Those two are really great together and it's easy to see just by looking at their pictures. Thank you guys for the fun-filled session, we loved every minute of it!
We had a blast during this fall engagement session with Lhu and Christian. Love the choice of the location - Nose Hill Park was majestic with all the yellow, and more than that, we got to recreate the proposal itself. So honored that the guys let us be the part of that special moment!
This was one of those late fall engagement sessions where we were lucky enough to catch the Rocky Mountains before the first snow. We truly love this spot in the mountains, not far from town of Banff - Cascade Ponds. They are beautiful and even with almost no water in the ponds this time of year, they look like a lunar crater landscape - that totally added a touch of magic to the shoot.
Despite the chilly wind, these two totally rocked this session! Enjoy this beautiful slideshow of some of our favorite from this session!
The best way for us, wedding photographers, to get to know our bride and groom before their "big day" is to photograph them during the engagement session (or e-session). That actually is a great opportunity for us to get that unique connection with our couple, that helps a lot during the wedding day.
We have published a sneak peek picture from this couple's engagement session in our previous blog post. Today we would like to share a selection of pictures from Courtney and Jordy's session a little more than a month ago.
