Some of our couples like to have their engagement session photos done in Calgary with architecture buildings in the background. Others prefer to go outside of city limits and find perfect views for their photos in the Banff National Park of Canada.
We like Banff National Park for its majestic the Rocky Mountains and endless forest vistas. We know so many picture-perfect places in the park.
This photo of Janny and Cole, hugging and having a good time, was captured during their engagement session at Fenland Trail in Banff National Park. This secluded place is well known by locals who use it as a shortcut to get from the close by Town of Banff to Vermilion Lakes. Guys chose it for their engagement session because it has a variety of backdrops they wanted to have in the engagement photos.
This particular photo was taken while photographing guys through the leaves of the bushes in front of us. It created a frame around guys, while they were standing and hugging on the bridge. We like to use objects in front of our cameras, so we can photograph our couples through them. That helps us to create some original photos during our photo sessions. We used only natural light for this photo and all the camera technical details can be found below.
We also have a blog post with guys story and more photos from this engagement session published in our stories section - Engagement Photos with Dogs in the Park.Banff National Park (237), Bridge (21), Canadian (525), Documentary Style (468), Fenland Trail (45), Park (267), Summer (228). 1/125; f/4.0; ISO 200; 35.0 mm.
